As requested by the President and Government decision of 13 April 2021, Samruk-Kazyna has purchased a million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. It might enable 500 000 persons to receive vaccines.

Delivery of vaccine provided under the Fund's agreement with the Ministry of Health and SK-Farmacy

The health situation of the Samruk-Kazyna Group is of the highest priority and precisely monitored.

The Fund focuses on maximizing the level of the Fund's employees and their families' vaccination. 

4 358 employees got the vaccine in the Samruk-Kazyna group, including 

1400 persons in KazMunayGas, 1170 persons in Samruk-Energy, 1021 persons in KazakhstanTemirZholy, 405 persons in Kazatomprom, 250 persons in KEGOC. 

Samruk-Kazyna is one of the largest employers in Kazakhstan.

There are 292 companies, including 276 000 employees. 

Since the time that pandemic began, Samruk-Kazyna has participated actively in the fight against Covid.

In 2020 according to the Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Fund purchased the scared positions like -  100 ambulances, 1,000 oxygen concentrators, 50 artificial vehicles ALV apparatuses, 1,000 Pulse ox, and 3,000 packs of antiviral drugs «Avifavir.»

The Fund acquired more than 6 million face masks for doctors, police, and social workers. Samruk-Kazyna promoted a wide range of measures to support local suppliers and health sector development.

According to the request of N. Nazarbayev, Сhairman of the Council for the Fund governance, Samruk-Kazyna will build two Infectious Disease Clinics in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.
