The reservists were invited to the Fund’s office in Nur-Sultan. The main topic of the meeting is the need of the New Kazakhstan for highly professional personnel capable of quickly adapting to the rapidly changing conditions of the modern world.

Almassadam Satkaliyev, the CEO of Samruk-Kazyna, called the meeting “energy and intellectual recharge”. He told the reservists about the urgent reforms already carried out and conducted interactive survey among them about the Fund’s activities. According to the Head of Samruk-Kazyna, in the future the Fund should become “a platform for redistribution of income from the export of non-renewable resources for the benefit of the state and the population, as well as for future generations”.

“Nowadays, the main driver of growth is just people, human capital, and their initiative. Therefore, we are very interested in the PYPR”, Almassadam Satkaliyev stressed. - New people are carriers of a new philosophy and thinking; they pay more attention to the issues of ESG, social responsibility, new corporate governance. All this is very important for building a New Kazakhstan. So go ahead, do not be afraid to speak out and express your opinion. We always welcome it!”

The management of the Fund and the Heads of portfolio companies carefully studied the projects and initiatives that the reservists presented at the meeting, and answered their questions. The participants of the event were able to communicate in the informal atmosphere during a coffee break.
