Today, the Fund held a meeting with Philippe Christodoulou, the Vice President of the French company Air Liquide. Yernat Berdigulov, the Managing Director for Strategy and Asset Management and Yernar Zhanadil, the Managing Director for Investment, Privatization and International Cooperation, discussed with their French colleagues issues of current cooperation and prospects for extending cooperation with the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies. 

During the meeting, Yernat Berdigulov, the Managing Director for Strategy and Asset Management, noted that Air Liquide has been a reliable partner of the Fund since 2014. “We highly appreciate the contribution of Air Liquide to the development of the oil and gas industry and are ready to make every effort to maintain fruitful partnerships,” - he said. 

At the moment, the French company, together with JSC NC KazMunayGas is successfully implementing a project for the production of technical gases on the basis of ANPZ and PNHZ. Yernat Berdigulov outlined the Fund’s commitment to the ESG principles and expressed readiness to form long-term cooperation and joint implementation of investment projects in low-carbon development, in particular on implementation of projects on hydrogen and technologies for carbon capture, storage and utilization in Kazakhstan.
