On September 29, the representatives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, JSC NC KazMunayGas, Kazpost JSC launched informational and explanatory meetings in Kostanay region as part of a large-scale campaign on privatization and IPO topics conducted throughout Kazakhstan.

Meetings with residents and employees of local enterprises will be held in the cities of Kostanay, Rudny and Lisakovsk. The event will gather together representatives of Kazakhstan broker-dealer organizations and stock exchanges AIX and KASE. Experts explain to residents the implementation of the Samruk-Kazyna privatization program and the IPO of portfolio companies, including key information about the first IPO candidate - the company JSC NC KazMunayGas, and also answer questions of interest to citizens, including how and through which brokerage companies it is better to purchase shares, as well as how protect yourself from the actions of scammers. 

“A large-scale roadshow in all regions of Kazakhstan gives the population a unique opportunity to get first-hand information about the upcoming IPO. It is very important in the stream of fraudulent agitation that has become more frequent recently to inform the population about the benefits of investing in stocks, how to participate in an IPO correctly and from which sources to get official information,” - Sholpan Ainabayeva said, the CEO of SkyBridge Invest JSC. 

According to Kanat Abrakhmanov, Senior Manager of the Financial and Economic Asset Management Strategy Department of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, IPO is a platform for those who think about their future, the future of their children and the country. “By investing in shares of such a large oil and gas company as KazMunaiGas today, you are contributing to qualitative changes within the entire industry, as well as creating a foundation for your financial well-being and prosperity of our common homeland. However, when buying shares, it is worth considering all investment risks for both professional stock market participants and beginners: there is no 100% guarantee of profit,” - the speaker shared. In total, 4 informational and explanatory meetings are planned to be held in Kostanay region, during which participants will learn about IPO mechanisms as an alternative source of income.  

Recall that informational and explanatory meetings with the population, company employees and employees of production facilities were held in more than 60 cities across the country from September 16 to 30, 2022.
