The parties discussed the deadlines for the implementation of projects for the construction of three heat power plants in Kazakhstan – in Kokshetau, Semei and Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as ways to accelerate the facility completion deadline.

These projects are being implemented within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, which has been signed on April 17, 2024.
