Foreign Partners of Kazatomprom to Allocate KZT854 million for Flood-Affected Regions

The partners of the Fund’s portfolio companies continue to provide charitable assistance for the restoration of the regions.

Foreign partners of JSC NAC Kazatomprom provided KZT854.4 million to Samruk-Kazyna Trust, including KZT707 million 390 thousand - from Uranium One, a member of the Rosatom Group of Companies, KZT147 million - from a large French state-owned company Ogapo.

In accordance with the decision of the Board of Trustees, these funds will be directed to the implementation of social projects in the affected regions.

It should be noted that today, large partners and subsidiaries of the Fund’s portfolio companies (Cameco, Marubeni, CGN, KMG RomPetrol, Asian Gas Pipeline, Uranium One, Ogapo) have allocated more than KZT2 billion.

Earlier, the Group of Companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC sent KZT22 billion to help the regions affected by floods.
