The project is being implemented in accordance with the President’s instruction on transfer of Almaty CHP to gas.

During the ceremony, Nurlan Zhakupov launched the start of the technological process of gas release into the pipeline with the displacement of the gas-air mixture on the second line of the pipeline.

A gas torch was lit, which marked the readiness of the gas transportation infrastructure for the Almaty energy complex.

He noted that the launch of the second line is an important part of a large project to develop the gas infrastructure for CHP-2 and CHP-3.

Implementation of the project will ensure reliable and uninterrupted transportation of gas to the population. As well as to reduce the negative impact of CHPs on the environment.

Intergas Central Asia, a subsidiary of QazaqGaz - a portfolio company of the Fund carries out construction of the gas infrastructure for the Almaty energy complex.
