Around 500 Samruk-Kazyna Group employees take part in a large-scale clean-up in Astana

Employees from more than 20 Group companies took part in the environmental initiative. They included employees of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, Kazatomprom, KazMunayGas, Kazakhtelecom, Samruk-Energy, KEGOC, Tau-Ken Samruk, Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu and other organisations.
The employees worked together to clean up the Linear Park area and improve the public space. The clean-up was held as part of the nationwide Taza Kazakhstan environmental initiative.

Since the beginning of 2026, Group of companies have held more than 2,000 environmental activities, including 960 clean-up campaigns.
Particular attention is being paid to greening efforts: more than 5 million trees have been planted this year alone, bringing the Group’s total contribution since the launch of its environmental initiatives to more than 11 million trees.

The clean-up was one of the activities held as part of the “Samuryqnama: 20 Good Deeds” campaign, which is taking place across Samruk-Kazyna Group companies from September 20 to October 13.
The campaign marks the 20th anniversary of the Fund and brings employees together around social, environmental and community-focused initiatives.
