Together with Samruk-Kazyna Business Academy PE we have developed a unified corporate training course called “Culture of Labor Safety”, which is based on the 7 Vision Zero Rules and aimed at increasing the level of competence of the Fund group’s employees in creating and maintaining safe working conditions at workplace.
Training for this course is being implemented from January 2023 after receiving the approval from the UK Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). In addition to production personnel, from this year the training perimeter also includes employees of contractors carrying out long-term works at our production facilities
Portfolio company employees are trained in NEBOSH, IOSH and defensive driving courses to increase their knowledge, responsibility for safety and to demonstrate leadership and engagement through personal example

Master classes are held in various areas of occupational safety on relevant topics: First Aid, Safety in the Office, Safe Driving, Fire Safety, Leadership in Occupational Health and Safety, Virtual Reality in Training, etc.
We participated in workshops on improving the level of safety culture for senior managers, heads of supervising operational activities and occupational safety services of corporate centers, branches and subsidiaries
Every year we hold specialized occupational safety events such as forums, seminars, workshops and master classes for managers to enhance leadership, commitment and experience sharing.
Since 2022, the Fund has been holding the Forum within the framework of which the practice of awarding the annual nomination of the Chief Executive Officer of Samruk-Kazyna JSC for the best performance in the field of occupational safety, including the award for the first place, has been introduced. Following the results of 2022, Kazakhtelecom JSC was determined as the nominee for the first place, and in 2023 - KEGOC JSC.
We monitor and evaluate constantly our efforts to improve safety. Audits of workplace conditions at various management levels are conducted on an ongoing basis
CEO-1 level executives of Portfolio Companies carry out inspections and visit the facilities at least once every two months in order to demonstrate leadership and commitment to safety issues, as well as to form an unbiased assessment of the condition of production sites
