Umirzak Shukeyev, the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC and Zhenis Osserbay, the Chairman of the Board of United chemical company LLP (hereinafter - UCC) met with a delegation of the leading global company in the chemical industry BASF (Germany), headed by Mr.Markus Kramer, the President of the Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, Russia and CIS region on the 21st of August, 2017 in Astana. The Memorandum of cooperation and partnership was signed between UCC LLP and BASF Central Asia LLP (hereinafter - BASF) in the framework of the meeting that provides for:

- Cooperation in the development of recommendations according to laboratory results of grain quality on the basis of UCC "Organization of laboratory-analytical complex";

- the organization of events to raise the local markets awareness about the BASF and the UCC joint products;

- the products markets cooperative development of the chemical industry on ongoing areas of cooperation.

The parties noted that cooperation between UCC and BASF will give an additional impetus to the chemical industry development in Kazakhstan and will be the basis for the technology gap bridging in the international principles and the domestic agrochemical production standards implementation.
