Today the Board of the Fund has adopted the following decisions: 

1. A new organizational structure was approved with a 2-fold reduction in the employee number, from 248 to 124 people. Management positions were reduced from 10 to 5. The number of structural units was optimized by one-third from 27 to 18. Advisers as full-time employees were excluded. Also, the Board has decided to close all offices of the Fund abroad. The organizational structure is available on the official website

2. A new procurement procedure, Rules for control, marketing, and import substitution were preliminarily approved and sent for approval to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, The Agency for Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and NCE "Atameken." These documents of direct action exclude any barriers to business. Therefore, the basis for procurement from a single source was significantly reduced. When the Board of Directors approves these documents, the Fund's corporate center will be assigned to develop a methodology, control, and monitoring procurement.

3.     Following the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan on the reforming of Samruk-Kazyna, an action plan was developed and sent to the portfolio companies. The document determines responsible officials, implementation deadlines, and control indicators.

4. In addition, the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC announces the early termination of powers of the General Director of Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP Sultanov A. K., Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC Sandykbaev B. A., General Director of Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP Akylov A.Zh., General Director of Samruk-Kazyna Business Service LLP Yelshibekov S.K. from January 24, 2022.

The Board also decided to determine the deadlines for completing the Fund's reform program for submission to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
