Samruk-Kazyna JSC has developed a draft new strategy for the development of the Fund until 2032 in accordance with the recent presidential address. The Fund’s share in the economy of Kazakhstan is planned to reduce to less than 5% by 2032, Almassadam Satkaliyev, the CEO of Samruk-Kazyna JSC has said today at the briefing in the Central Communications Service (CCS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“The key goal is the development of fair competition. Non-strategic assets of Samruk-Kazyna will be gradually withdrawn based on economic feasibility and efficiency”, - A. Satkaliyev said. 

According to him, Samruk-Kazyna will reduce its shares in portfolio companies, gradually moving to the investment holding model. 

At the same time, the Fund sets several specific tasks for the entire group of companies for the next 10 years:

● Increase the total value of the Fund’s net assets by 2 times

● Increase labor productivity by 1.5 times

● Reduce the net carbon footprint by 10%

● Achieve the results of the best companies in the world according to the ESG rating (50 percentile).
