Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna, Nurlan Zhakupov, together with the Akim of Abai Region, Berik Uali, and the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy, Kairat Maksutov, held a working meeting on the operations of the group’s energy companies and the implementation of investment projects.

During the meeting, reports from the management of the Shulbinsk and Oskemen hydropower plants were heard.

The participants discussed how the stations are managing the flood period and what measures are being taken to ensure stable operations.

The Chief Investment Officer of Samruk-Energy, Ansar Aidarov, also reported on the progress of major projects, including the construction of the Semey Hydropower Plant and the second phase of the Shulbinsk station.

Following the meeting, Nurlan Zhakupov and Berik Uali instructed the Fund’s portfolio companies and the Akimat of Abai Region to strengthen coordination and accelerate the implementation of investment projects in the region.
