Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Nurlan Zhakupov, met with Aymeric Arnaud, Chief Regional Officer for the Middle East, Türkiye/CIS, and Africa at Societe Generale. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation, including Societe Generale’s participation in the group’s energy and infrastructure projects.

Societe Generale is participating in financing key energy projects of Samruk-Kazyna, including a 1 GW wind power plant and a 300 MW solar power plant in the Turkestan region, as well as infrastructure initiatives involving Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. Furthermore, the Samruk-Kazyna Group uses the bank’s tools for liquidity management.
