The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the nuclear energy sector.

China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) is China’s leading nuclear energy company. It's a major energy holding company in the nuclear energy sector with access to the entire nuclear fuel cycle.

Kazatomprom, a portfolio company of Samruk-Kazyna, and CNNC have maintained a long-term partnership in the supply of natural uranium.
