The Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Nurlan Zhakupov, met with Aleška Simkič, Ambassador of the European Union to Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between Samruk-Kazyna and the European Union in the fields of energy, transport and logistics, the development of critical raw materials supply chains, digital transformation, the green economy, and sustainable development.

Zhakupov noted that the European Union is Kazakhstan’s largest trading and investment partner. He emphasized that, for Samruk-Kazyna, which brings together the country’s key national companies, cooperation with European partners is of strategic importance.

The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in expanding their partnership, implementing joint projects, and advancing the exchange of cutting-edge technologies and expertise.
