Representatives of China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) and China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE), both subsidiaries of CCCC, also attended the meeting.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in transport, port, and energy infrastructure, as well as the implementation of joint investment projects in Kazakhstan.

The meeting highlighted the successful cooperation on major infrastructure projects, including the construction of the Bakhty–Ayagoz railway line and dredging works at the Port of Aktau. Previously, CWE served as the EPC contractor for the construction of the Moynak Hydropower Plant in Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, Samruk-Kazyna JSC and China Communications Construction Company Limited signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement on dredging projects in Kazakhstan. In addition, Samruk-Energy JSC and China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE) signed a Joint Development Agreement for the construction of a pumped-storage hydropower plant.
