During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in cross-border e-commerce and international logistics, two of the key pillars of trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People’s Republic of China.

Particular attention was given to strengthening the partnership between YTO Express and Kazpost JSC. The parties reviewed the performance of the Qazpost-YTO joint venture, in which Kazpost holds a 40% stake and YTO Express owns the remaining 60%.

Over the past two years, the joint venture has processed more than 11.4 million parcels from China, while increasing its daily handling capacity from 8,000 to 20,000 shipments.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding cooperation, developing logistics infrastructure, and increasing the volume of cross-border freight between Kazakhstan and China.
