The parties discussed the further development of the strategic partnership between Samruk-Kazyna JSC and CITIC Group. The discussions focused on cooperation in petrochemicals, attracting financing, and developing capital market projects.

The successful implementation of joint projects, including the modernization of the Caspi Bitum plant and Karazhanbasmunai, was highlighted. A key area of cooperation is the construction of an ethane-propane pipeline. The pipeline will ensure the safe and reliable transportation of ethane and propane from the Tengiz field to Kazakhstan’s polyethylene and polypropylene plants.

The parties also reviewed the progress of initiatives launched through the Kazakhstan–China Business Council, where Samruk-Kazyna and CITIC Group serve as co-chairs. Following the Council’s two most recent meetings, more than 110 commercial agreements with a total value of approximately USD 20 billion have been signed.
