As part of his working visit to East Kazakhstan Region, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov visited Kazzinc LLP.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the company’s production performance and development priorities.

Kazzinc LLP is a major integrated zinc producer, with significant by-production of copper, precious metals and lead.

The Fund’s portfolio company, Tau-Ken Samruk JSC, has held a 29.82% stake in Kazzinc LLP since 2013, while the majority stake is owned by Swiss-based Glencore.
