As part of his working visit to Aktobe, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov visited the renovated railway station.

The reconstruction was completed a week ago. The station building and engineering systems have been upgraded, providing more comfortable conditions for passengers. Particular attention has been paid to safety and accessibility for all passengers, including those with reduced mobility.

The railway station infrastructure is also being upgraded in other districts of Aktobe oblast. The stations in Shalkar and Shubarkuduk have already been reconstructed and commissioned. Work is still underway at four other facilities in Alga, Zhem, Kandyagash and Karauylkeldi. Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC has been tasked with completing the work within the established deadlines and preparing the stations for opening in early September.

“It is important not only to complete the work on time, but also to ensure high quality and compliance with all safety requirements. Our goal is to provide passengers with modern, safe and comfortable conditions,” Nurlan Zhakupov said.

The Fund is keeping the completion of work at these facilities under constant review.

As part of the visit, the Head of Samruk-Kazyna presented employment record books to students who had completed dual training at Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and are beginning their professional careers in the railway industry.
