Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of KEGOC JSC.

In the first seven months of 2026, KEGOC’s revenue amounted to KZT 298.3 billion, exceeding the plan by 4.5%. Net profit reached KZT 65.3 billion, 12% above the planned target. The company’s core service volumes also exceeded planned levels.

The company continues to implement key projects to develop the National Power Grid. These include strengthening the power grid in the Southern Zone and integrating the power system of Western Kazakhstan with the country’s Unified Power System. Both projects are scheduled for completion in 2027.

The company is also preparing for the upcoming autumn-winter period. The maintenance campaign covers 589 facilities, with a total budget of KZT 4.1 billion. This includes 100 power transmission lines, 38 substation equipment units, 107 buildings and structures, and 337 vehicles. The work is being carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.

Particular attention was paid to digitalization and the implementation of artificial intelligence. KEGOC has already deployed 15 AI agents, while the CORE GRID AI platform features modules for automated forecasting of electricity consumption, generation and renewable energy output. Going forward, the company plans to implement AI solutions for maintenance management, electricity market and loss analysis, as well as an AI-powered solution for generating improvement proposals and other applications.
