The parties discussed the development of Kazakhstan-Korea cooperation in the mining sector and prospects for joint projects in geological exploration and the extraction of critical minerals.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation between KIGAM and Tau-Ken Samruk JSC. Systematic cooperation began in 2024 with the signing of a memorandum between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tau-Ken Samruk and KIGAM.

At the meeting, the parties discussed further expanding cooperation.

KIGAM specialises in assessing the resource potential of deposits and conducting comprehensive analyses of mineral resource projects.
