Samruk-Kazyna Group Signs a Number of Documents During Sultan of Oman’s Visit to Kazakhstan

As part of the state visit of Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said to Astana, a number of documents aimed at developing investment and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Oman were signed.
The following documents were signed in the presence of the Head of State:
Samruk-Kazyna JSC and Oman Investment Authority signed an agreement to establish a joint investment structure. By the end of 2026, the parties plan to establish a joint investment fund with total capital of $150 million on a parity basis at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). The fund will invest in joint projects, primarily in Kazakhstan and Oman.
Another document was signed between KazMunayGas JSC and OQ Exploration and Production New Ventures LLC. The framework agreement provides a basis for identifying and assessing potential investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector in Kazakhstan, Oman and other countries.
The agreements signed provide a foundation for further expanding investment and business cooperation between Kazakhstan and Oman.
