The delegation of Samruk-Kazyna met with the top management of PJSC Sberbank, Mail.ru and Yandex in a working visit to Moscow.

Representatives of the Fund and portfolio companies visited Sberbank Corporate University, where they had an opportunity to get acquainted with technological solutions and approaches of Sberbank to create business ecosystem.

The sides discussed ways of promoting Fin Tech projects, digital products, infrastructure line and bank’s platform services.

Given the global trends and priorities, the Fund will create a business ecosystem to develop new non-financial and essential services in areas like medicine, energy, water supply, robotics and digital security. 

Prospective areas of cooperation – development of a data processing system, technology innovation for a green economy and cloud service were discussed in the meeting with the top managers of Russian Technology Corporations Mail.ru and Yandex.

Following negotiations, QazCloud and Mail.ru signed a memorandum of intent, according to which the Kazakh companies will have access to the cloud platform from Mail.ru Cloud Solutions.

As the general director of QazCloud Kasym Yesergepov has noted: “today we face growing demand for open-source cloud services, allowing rapid and low-cost development of infrastructure, but also get breakthrough platform (PaaS) to accelerate the development of digital projects.”
