In the framework of the Youth Policy Development Program, a youth and educational forum is held in Almaty attended by young specialists working in the Fund’s group.

The forum brought together employees of portfolio companies and enterprises from different regions of Kazakhstan.

The Chairman of the Board of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC Nurlan Zhakupov made a welcoming speech at the forum. The Head of the Fund noted that of 250 thousand employees who work in the group of companies, more than 80 thousand are young professionals under the age of 35.

«Development of the human capital is our main goal. We rely on the young generation and are sincerely interested in the employees of our enterprises growing and developing together with us, taking an active part in the life of the Fund, contributing their innovative ideas and creative approaches, being technologically competent», said Nurlan Zhakupov.

To moment the youth wing is actively developing within the «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC. Employees are involved in activities, including educational seminars and sports tournaments, factory visits for the purpose of exchange of experience, charity work and support for self-development.

This year, with aim to implement youth policy in all regions of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the Youth Council of the Fund Group as well as regional chairs of the Youth Councils were elected.

In total, there are 206 Youth Councils acting within portfolio companies and subsidiaries of the Fund.

During the Forum, an extensive program was prepared for the participants, which included trainings, round tables, team building activities.

On the sidelines of the event young specialists were trained in leadership, self-diagnostics, realization of their capabilities, developed decision-making skills, emotional intelligence, got acquainted with 4D-management system.

Within the Forum the Chairman of the Board of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC got acquainted with the work plan and activities for 2024.
