Sustainable development and implementation of ESG principles are an integral part of the Fund's Development Strategy and ensure the achievement of its long-term goals. Implementation of ESG principles allows the Fund not only to strengthen its reputation as a responsible investor, but also to form global partnerships and attract international investments, which, in turn, contributes to reducing the share of the state in the economy and increasing the overall competitiveness of portfolio companies.
Sustainable Development Priorities
The Fund operates in accordance with its Development Plan for 2023-2032 (the Strategy), which corresponds to the key National Priorities and contributes to the implementation of the country's long-term development strategy "Kazakhstan-2050".
The Fund's strategic goals – increasing the value of net assets and promoting competition – are directly related to the principles of sustainable development.
The key objectives of the Fund's strategy – effective management of the asset portfolio, increase in labour productivity, technological modernisation, introduction of resource-saving technologies – directly affect the growth of the value of assets (NAV). At the same time, the focus on reducing the carbon footprint, developing green finance instruments, and advancing social initiatives is aligned with global investment trends, thereby strengthening the Fund's competitive position in international capital markets.
